Is writing a book really that hard?

Okay, I have been trying to write a book, for a while now and I don't know what to do. So, for one month, I will try to write a short story/novel :). Hopefully this will work *cross fingers*

Woo hoo!

The New Zealand government (I live in NZ) was going to pass bill that meant that all schools would lose 3 or 4 teachers, AND they were going to solve the children : teacher ratio by putting more students into still-existing classrooms! I would HATE to move to another classroom because 'Room 4 Rebels Rock'. Well, not really that's just what our sign says. Our teachers were going to force us to march 2 kilometres and sign a petition to say no. Not ask, told us we had to, like we had no opinion in the matter. Luckily they decided to retract their teacher cutting statement. Now is a time for celebrating!

Woman Stops Car-jacker With Own Gun
A Tampa woman, who only wants to be identified as Adrianna, refuses to be a victim of a carjacking attempt when she was approached by a gunman who jumped into her car on Thursday. Adrianna told news reporter that she was pulling into the International Mall in Tampa, FL when an armed man jumped in her car. Unlucky for him, Ms. Adrianna was also carrying her own firearm in which she uses to smack the carjacker in the head and sent him running away.“I just leaned forward and punched him in the forehead with my gun. The man screamed like a girl and almost dropped his gun as he ran away.” she told ABC News.
